SOAR WEB DESIGN & GRAPHICS was created from a desire to use my creative talents to help other small business owners, like myself, promote their businesses, talents, or products.

I have been a successful business owner for 22 years. I was a personal care home provider for 9 years and have been running a very successful Registered Family Daycare (Martinez Tender Lovin' Daycare) in Columbia County for the last 12 years. I developed my first website for my daycare. Eventually, website design became a hobby and now a growing business.

My interest in graphic design began as a way of creating something unique from photographs I had taken. I am an amateur photographer with a love for children and nature. I am currently serving as an Events Photographer for the Augusta Chronicle. 

I am proficient in the use of website development software, such as Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 and Adobe Photoshop. I am currently updating my graphic skills to include working with Macromedia Flash 8 and Fireworks software.

As a small business owner myself, I know all too well how difficult it can be to grow and sustain a business on a tight budget. Marketing dollars must provide a return on investment. After years of wasting money on newspaper ads that went unanswered or that attracted the wrong type of clientele and phonebook listings that cost a fortune, I discovered the Internet and it has been a great tool to helping me find the right clients consistently over the years.
